カッシーナ社2023年新作事前発表会 Salone 2023 Preview Cassina
3年ぶりの正式なサローネが来週から開始される。それに先立ち、イタリアン・ファニチャーの代表の一つカッシーナ社の新商品発表会がドゥリーニ通りのショールームで昨日あった。
After three years, the official Salone del Mobile will start next week. Prior to that, Cassina, one of the representatives of Italian furniture, had a new product launch yesterday at the showroom on Via Durini.
いつもながら、世界最高品質のインテリア商品が並ぶ空間は圧倒的な存在感がある。入口を入って直ぐのショーウインドーの上部には、全周にLEDウォールが並び、ダイナミックさも加わり、隣のライバルB&Bイタリアを意識してるのが感じられる。
As always, the space where the world’s highest quality interior products are lined up has an overwhelming presence. At the top of the show window immediately after entering the entrance, LED walls are lined up all around, adding dynamism, and you can feel that you are conscious of the rival B&B Italia next door.
今回の目玉は同ブランド初の照明器具シリーズ。トビア・スカルパのLEDバーのシステム照明。それがA.カスティリオーニ設計のラセン階段に下がってる。同社PRディレクターのサーラさんは友人。
The highlight of this time is the brand’s first series of lighting fixtures. System lighting of LED bars by Tobia Scarpa. It descends to the spiral staircase designed by A. Castiglioni. Sara, the company’s PR director, is a friend.
そして、イームズ夫妻の照明、P.スタルク、L.F.トランジェルダーのStoneライトなどが並ぶ。
Then there are the Eames lighting, P. Starck, and L.F. Transelder‘s Stone lights.
メイン家具では人気のキャピタル・コンプレックス・アームチェアーの新色、G.ポンティのスーパーレジェーラの兄弟イス、M.ベリーニのキャブにテーブル登場など、新作がかなりの多い。傘下のデンマーク、キャラクター社のカジュアルなソファーも良い。
In the main furniture, there are quite a few new items, such as the new color of the popular Capital Complex armchair, G. Ponti’s Superleggera sibling chair, and M. Bellini’s cab with a table. A casual sofa from Denmark, a subsidiary of Karakter, is also good.
全体を見渡して、アート・ディレクター P.ウルキオラの色彩配色センスの良さが際立つ。同ブランドのタイプの違う多くのシリーズを一つの大きな空間にそれぞれ巧みに配置させながら、全体も統一コーディネートされてる力量はさすがだ。
Overlooking the whole, art director P. Urquioia’s good sense of color scheme stands out. The ability to unify and coordinate the whole while skillfully arranging many different series of the same brand in one large space is impressive.
同社も含まれてる「ライフ・スタイル・デザイングループ」と、来週から開催予定の隣のB&Bイタリア「デザイン・ホールディンググループ」の展示との比較が楽しみだ。I’m looking forward to comparing the “Lifestyle Design Group“, which includes the company, with the exhibition of the next-door B&B Italia “Design Holding Group“, which is scheduled to be held from next week.
